Even when it's not about trains, it's about trains
This past weekend we went to visit all the grandparents. On Saturday this included a visit in my hometown, Kane, during the Alumni Weekend festivities. All of the high school reunions are held the same weekend every year, so the town is full and busy.
Tom Capello is an antique toy train enthusiast who, the past few years, has set up some of his Lionel trains in our old Train Depot during this weekend. He was running them on Saturday afternoon. I thought we would stop by for a few minutes. I should have known. We stayed for more than an hour. The only way I could get Myles out of there was that Tom had to shut down the trains for a while because they were overheating. But I knew Myles really, really wanted to be there because he was a very good listener and never gave into the tempatation to touch the trains or the tracks.
