What would you miss?

I have been amused when I have been in the expat groceries like Charlie's USA store or the imported items aisle at Wal-Mart. They are full of candy and snackfoods, with the Shekou expat stores also heavy on the breakfast cereals. But is that what it comes to? When we live thousands of miles from home all we really want are real cheetos and hershey kisses? Even the European or Aussie/Kiwi supplies are mainly in the same categories.
This was all very funny to me until I started to look for pretzels. I suddenly got a hankering for them and yet......I cannot find them anywhere but in the local expat store. And there they cost almost $8 a bag!!!! I haven't broken down yet. "Only a few more weeks.....only a few more weeks....." I keep reminding myself.
Yeah, I know...I have such great concerns.
