Picture of Fuyong

This kinda sorta shows what I was describing in the "really went to China" post. In Fuyong, the streets are lined with these sort of mixed use buildings. The stall on the far left is a machine shop. On the far right is some sort of hardware or building supply store. In between are some retail some industrial use operations. There are other parts of Shenzhen (heck, even some of Shekou) that look similar, with the garage-bay business and the apartments above (see the laundry drying?), but they mostly are retail spaces (clothes, food, tea, jewelry). Fuyong was exceptionally interesting because in the mix were industrial business.
