Go ahead....say what you will

If I were a better mother or step-mother, I would not be jealous that my step-daughter Katie has tickets to see Luda in Clarion the same date as our trip.
If I were a better person in general I would:

A) Not even know who Ludacris is
B) If I did know, be appalled that anyone (particularly anyone professing to be a Christian) would want to go to his show
C) Never have danced around the house with Myles as a baby to "Stand Up" (radio edit!!!!)

However, those of you familiar with how rural and backwoodsy Clarion is (tho' a much bigger town than Kane, for sure), must admit some curiosity with respect to what happens when a Hip Hop star goes there. Is he going to stay at the Comfort Inn? Where's he going to go after the show? The Loomis? I mean, is this Simple Life part 5?

Clarion? Oh wow...I ahd no idea..is he on a college tour I guess? The town will never the same!
I have nothing to say since I am just as guilty of enjoying his stuff...and as a feminist AND a Christian , I should be twice over offended and yet.... I can't help dancing either...yep, just another day in the 'hood...

Clarion must have hooked up with soem great booking agent (maybe an alum or something?) In the past few years for Campusfest they've had Rascal Flatts, Trick Pony, The Clarks---ususally they have a Rock night, a country night, and a hip-hop night. Last year's hip-hop act didn't show up. I think Luda is the only big name act this year

hmmm now that's interesting...Rascal Flatts too? They must have some sweet connections.
I mean, OK, even SHC (I mean SHU) got the Clarks....but LUDA?

Now HE would have been quite amusing to see up on the hill...especially back in the days you and I were there...
