And then when it came time for his baptism, the most convenient day for us was December 28, the Catholic Feast of the Holy Family. I was arranging for a luncheon after Mass and the baptism, and my sisters gave me some grief about having a party on a Sunday afternoon during, uh, football season. Had I lived in the south so long I forgot how sacred Sunday afternoons were? Uh, no. Steelers played the Ravens that night.
