BUT WE WERE THERE!
It was such a fantastic deal--free admission and even cheap parking in the stadium lots to show fanatical support for the Super Bowl Bound Steelers. We were treated to a free concert from the Povertyneck Hillbillies (straight outta Fayette-Nam) and appearances from local dignitaries, some Rooneys, a couple of dudes from KDKA, Tunch and Wolf, and somewhere between 15,000 and 30,000 Steeler fans. Oh yeah, did I mention that some STEELERS WERE THERE? In addition to Jeff Reed, Heath Miller, Chris Hope, Alan Faneca, and Joey Porter, we got to see

I tried to get as much video and pictures as I could, but frequently my pictures looked like this
I was in the company of some very enthusiastic boys (and my sister and her friend John, too, but they aren't as cute as these guys--hahahaha)
And one cool thing after we left the rally was that Myles and I were walking behing a guy with a very familiar sign. You probably saw it on TV last week, at the Denver game. When it was on TV, the guy's buddy Mark was holding it up. He was more than happy for Myles to pose with him and his now famous sign. He said he saw the picture online, downloaded it, blew it up, and took it with him to Denver.

Even though we are clearly not Steelers fans in this household, your pictures caused an "ahhh!" moment from my husband. He said "how cool for those boys. They will never forget that."
