Wow
I had like 700 hits on Monday. Blogalanche.
If you have come back, thanks. If you posted nice things to me yesterday, 'way thanks. And if you emailed me, muchas dankes!
The weird thing about it, watching the sitemeter rack up hits from like everywhere was one thing I missed. Because my hits are normally under 30 per day, sometimes even under 20, I use the sitemeter not to feed my pride and ego but as my way to check up on you guys. Like I will see that Julie was on at 5 am and I wonder when just when will she stop working nights. Then I will see that LC aka Puritas Corbin got home from work and Mass after work, another night owl. I wonder what the Rubberboots Girl is doing up so late, Bayern time. I worry if I don't see RheaDogg for a while, because I know she HAS to read her blogs every day. I go into slight panic when I see hits from Augusta or New Hampshire--Catholic Super-Moms that I wish I were more like. JMU usually means sp has some time on his busy hands. Hits that come from Holy Whapping means I need to increase my posts about Nabokov or Henry Miller (just kidding).
That's what I use my sitemeter for, and when I got all those hits, my first thought was....no,my first thought was to email my cousin who blogs and brag, but right after that my thoughts were more like, oh man, how do I know how everyone is doing?
