What's in a name
The past few months Myles has been giving names to his stuffed animals. I've been asking him longer than that what the name of this bear or rabbit or whatever was, and the answers were basically, bear, rabbit or whatever. Okay, actually MY bear, MY rabbit, et cetera. A few months ago he surprised me when I asked what the name of one of his dogs was and he said, "Bill."
"Bill?" I asked.
"Yeah, Bill," he said. Randy has a brother Bill that Myles likes, so we think that is where the name originated.
Following that, lots of animals got names quite suddenly. This puppy was Donald, this one Douglas. A rabbit given to him by RheaDogg and A-Ronious J so long ago (:'-() is now Fred. Lest you think he is so creative with coming up with these names, note that all three of these names are characters from Thomas the Tank Engine. As everything else in this world, even when it's not about trains, it's about trains.
We have had one flier. A really cute bear that was a giveaway at a Pirates game last season was recently named Tessa. Tessa? The name of the new baby next door.
