On Spongebob
Danielle Bean has a cute post about her son who was recently in the hospital and got to watch Spongebob while he was there. She doens't allow her kids to watch Spongebob and her reasons are unexpectedly as random as mine for not letting Myles watch Barney, Teletubbies, or Jay Jay the Jet Plane. I can only afford so many character obsessions. And, as you may know, I have my suspicions about Lazy Town, so that is out, too.
But SpongeBob on the other hand, Myles is more than welsome to watch. Before he was born one of my friends sent him a Spongebob pillow. You see, I love SpongeBob. It takes me back to when Crispian was littler, not much older than Myles is now, and he used to watch it, and we would snuggle and watch it together. And laugh ourselves silly.
Any time I wasn't with Crispian I missed him. Randy even bought me a Spongebob DVD to try to help. That's what Spongebob means to me....loving and enjoying my limted time with my first favorite little boy.
