I think I am officialy a Jesus Freak

We had a playdate at my friend Alyssa's in Greensburg today. When we sat down for lunch, Myles insisted on praying. He blessed himself and started in on the "Bless Us O Lord." I helped him finish. Then he blessed himself again, and clapped Amen (his new thing). It actually comes out AAAAA-MEN (Clap!)
Later tonight or tomorrow if I feel up to it I'll describe yesterday's Mass that had Myles apologizing to Jesus (I'm sorry Jesus.... I'm sorry Jesus). Audibly. During the eucharistic prayer.

After I first showed her how to make the Sign of the Cross, my niece Alayna went through a period where she thought all prayer should be accompanied with a cool gesture like that. So she started to make up her own if no proscribed gesture existed. Every time she said "Amen," it was accompanied by a gesture where she's kind of bop herself on the top of the head in a very exaggerated way. Twice, of course -- once for each syllable. "A-men!" (bonk, bonk!)
