I can't wait to see the NFL Films record of this week

This play is going to look so phenomenal in that slowed-motion poetry they call the Highlight reel. This is right before he flew by the pylons and reached across the goal line.

I just love NFL Films. One of my dream jobs that I will never have is to be a writer for NFL Films. I simply love how mythic football looks through the lens of their productions. Or like a memory that you just have to describe from every possible point of view you can imagine. *sigh*
I haven't seen last weeks', and the snowy ones are always exceptional.

For a non football person like myself (who has been co-erced into watching the games this season by family and that Dean guy) I will say that Ben's artful dive was a beautiful move.

I understnad football I really do..I just don't get as excited about it as I do watching hockey or soccer--and so, I enjoy making dumb girl remarks to annoy the Dean guy like "ohhh look how pretty the uniforms are.." and "Isn't that Troy guy CUTE!") -just to see his eyes roll back in his head.

So to lighten half time, I even put the Ben moves to music (thanks to Rocky Horror)--

"With a fake to the left,
and a step to the right,
with hands around the pigskin, tuck it to your ribs real tight,
oh but it's that athletic dive that drives you insane..."

thank you..
yes, I know...
I'll keep my day job...

(but man! that Troy's hair..swoon!)
