Chinese nun loses focus on her persecution; behaves like a Christian
Did that sound Mark Shea-like?
Anyway, the South China Morning Post continues to cover the story in Xian diocese about the nuns who were beaten. Again, since linking to it here gets you nowhere, you will have to trust me on what it says. Since I am home now, I am able to print to PDF.
Basically she and her family completely forgive her attackers.
I wish I could do that, forgive like that. Wow.

The attack left Dong Jianian , 41, at risk of permanent paralysis but her
brother, Dong Liuxian , 50, said the family did not hold any grudges against the
assailants.
"The operation was relatively successful. Whether she recovers
or not, we still have to pray and thank God. We do not bear grudges against
anyone. This thing [the attack] is in the past," Mr Dong told the South China
Morning Post.
Sister Dong and 15 other Immaculate Heart of Jesus nuns were
attacked by a group of 40 thugs - allegedly hired by a property developer - with
wooden batons on November 23 when they were protecting land belonging to the
Xian Catholic Diocese....
A sister also said Sister Dong bore no grudges against the thugs.
"She
was not angry. She prays for the attackers so they'll change for the better.
Because we believe in Jesus Christ, we share our love with enemies and
criminals," the nun said.
I wish I could do that, forgive like that. Wow.
