WE HAVE A TOAD
I bought it on eBay, and I didn't pay the $50-$60 going rate. I don't know how it happened. I put in my usual maximum (less than half the above range), thinking I would lose anyway, and suddenly I get an email that I won it.
When we finally got it in the mail, I told Myles I had a surprise for him, a "brake van."
"TOAD!!!! My TOAD!!!!"
He has barely let it out of his sight since then. Crispian's frind Kurtis was over this afternoon, and Myles gave him just about every other train he had to keep Toad.
For those of you that have been on the Lookout for Toad, and may even have one ready for him, we will still graciously accept it. Since a few of his most favoritist engines disappear (I have mentioned before here that we are on Pecry #4 and right now Duncan is MIA, causing not less than two crying fits of greater than 15 minutes each), we will probably need another Toad by Christmas.
I also updated the sidebar list of Really Useful Engines to reflect those he received for his birthday.
