Liturgical Abuses? Pshaw
When Myles and I were at Mass last week at St. Bede's (and the behavior is improving, thank you), he looked around before Mass, satisfied with what he saw, and said that we were, in fact, in a church.
A few months ago there was a flurry of blogging spawned by an Adoremus survey on liturgical abuses. Maybe what is really needed is for us to send out our 2- and 3- year olds and ask them, Is this a Church? And if we satisfy them that we are in a "Jesus place," maybe that should be good enough for us.
