Knights of Fried Chicken?
Monday Night Football used to be one of my favorite things in the world. No more. I did not get to bed until well after 1 am, maybe 2 (hard to remember if I have changed all my clocks or not). I am DRAGGIN'. Later I hope to get some Halloween pictures and stories up.
But for a laugh, or maybe not and it is just too funny to me, this from the Bradford, PA, newspaper.
One of the been-there-forever restaurants in town burnt down over the weekend. The owners who lived above it escaped. No one was seriously hurt, Thank God. Fires=not funny. Small town newspaper reporters=funny.
In describing the extent of the damage to the property, the newspaper reports this from a conversation with the VFD Chief (emphasis mine):
Ummmm, the building that adjoins the restaurant was purchased years ago from the local Knights of Columbus. It was the Knights of Columbus Hall, locally still referred to as the K of C Hall. K of C===> KFC?
Well at least my sisters also can't stop laughing about this.

Huckabone said there was smoke and water damage to the neighboring building that was attached to Papa Nick's by a walkway. Huckabone said the attached building was the old Kentucky Fried Chicken hall and believed the Nicolazzo's owned that building as well.
