I'm famous in the Mon Valley

Once upon a time, when I was in college, I had a friend who shared my first name, and I modified her last name to include a very vulgar word, one of the seven. Everyone ended up calling her that, since Jen's were so plenty we had to differentiate. I even yelled her nickname across the campus of St. Vincent College one day to get her to hold the bus for me.
On Saturday Myles and I went to her house for a pre-Thanksgiving party-thing (more details and pictures in the next few days because Myles and her little girl had some very cute moments). She introduced me to one of her friends there as the girl that gave her that name. I was surprised she had told someone about the name, 10+ years after the fact. Apparently she tells everyone.
I am famous up and down the Mon River as the Girl that Gave her THAT Name.
My mother would be so proud.

You know, during senior year, I got so used to the nickname you coined for her that I often had a hard time remembering Mil******'s real last name. :)

I wonder if anyone ever accidentally slipped that name to a teacher when talking about her.
