Geez Magazine

There is a new Christian magazine out there, Geez. It comes out of Canada. The first issue is being printed right now. I haven't read it yet, but it seems to me to be a younger Sojourners, something a little to the left. They are looking for booksellers that might be interested in stocking some issues, too, so if you know any, please contact Will, the editor . RheaDogg (and Greg if you happen to get around to reading this), this might be something you would be interested in. If you can't get a copy I might be able to send you one; I will have a few free copies.
My connection is only that I submitted my "Where do y'all worship" story, and it will appear, heavily edited, in this first issue. I really don't know that much more about it. I thought it might be fun to get something in a magazine, and I figured that a new magazine would be desparate enough for material that the bar would be pretty low :-). Whether or not that was the actual case.....well, you can be the judge.

Congrats! I'm going to refer to you as "published author Jen Ambrose" from now on, so get used to it. :-D And since the magazine is out of Canada, it's nice to know that they're giving the world more than just Corey Hart and Alan Thicke. :-) (Joke, Canadians, joke!)

Thank you. Published is a relative term. Like the tree falling in the forest, I don't know if it counts if no one reads it. I am no Matt Ambrose, I'll tell you that right now. And this completely pales compared to the more important news that YOUR SISTER GOT INTO RIT!!!!!!

LC:
Maybe next year for Canadian Thanksgiving I should make a list of ALL the things I am Thankful for that come from CANADA. Pam Anderson (I loved VIP--sue me), John Candy, Mike Meyers, Roots sportswear, oooh ooooh--TIM HORTONS and especially Tim Bits!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
