Fantastic Music

I caught the tail end of Fresh Air today, and Ed Ward reviewed the life's work of Sandy Denny. If the name doesn't ring a bell, but her voice does, she sang on Led Zeppelin's "Battle of Evermore." Anyway, some of the songs he played from her Fairport Convention days (which included Richard Thompson) we just alarmingly and timelessly beautiful. I NEED these CD's. And of course, like Nick Drake, or Kirsty MacColl, or Jeff Buckley, or any number of musicians many of us discover too late, her life ended so sadly and tragically, adding, of course, to her legend.
