Ambrose-A-Rama hearts Nuns, particularly those with a, ahem, past

Also in this post from Modern Arts Notes, Tyler mentions that he got to see a documentary directed by a CMU professor called "A Model for Matisse" that was showing at the National Gallery this weekend. It is a film about a Domincan Nun who, as a young woman, was a model and assistant to Henri Matisse. And before you get set for a road trip to see it LC, it was only being shown this weekend. I have emailed the info to my sister, who happens to work at CMU, to see if she knows someone who knows someone who knows someone that can see if there is a DVD available, even if just for a loan. Heck, I'll even take VHS. Of course, there is always the possibility of it being shown somewhere around Pittsburgh again, but that would require my getting a sitter.
If you read some of the story about the nun's continued relationship with Matisse after she took her veil and vows, you might notice some slight similarities between some elements of her story and the scenes with the sculptor in In This House of Brede (okay, just LC & I would see such things because we are probably the only people here that have read it). Obviously not totally, but it makes me wonder if maybe Rumer Godden had heard this story, or if stories like this are not that uncommon.
