Myles, Budding Culinary Genius

The other night I had bought for Myles at Giant Eagle a Chef's Salad. He still isn't keen on lettuce, but the Chef's Salad is loaded up with all kinds of stuff he likes and can eat with his fingers.
He was picking at it still yesterday at lunchtime. He picked up a black olive and told me that it was an "oval" and upon further examination, he found it had a hole, and told me this, too. He then picked up a little of the shreaded carrots on his salad. The strand by strand he inserted them into the olive so that they were half-in, half-out. Once he had two or three in, he admired his work. Proudly, he proclaimed his new appetizer, "MMMMMMMMMM" worthy. And then he ate it.

All Myles needs to do is give his creation a French name, plate it on a rectangular white plate along with a stripe of artfully drizzled raspberry sauce, and he could charge $20 for it in some Manhattan restaurant. :-)
