Drawing pictures in the surf

Once again, even when it's not about trains, it is about trains.
After Randy drew a variety of letters and shapes in the sand for Myles, Myles moved on to having Daddy draw Thomas the Tank Engine Characters in the sand. It started off easy enough, with his requests for Thomas and Percy.

Randy had an idea about those trains, but as Myles delved further into the full Litany of Really Useful Engines, Randy needed some help.
When Myles asked for Toby. Randy looked at me, and I told him that Toby was the rectangular one. So Randy drew this one

to which Myles said to him, "That's Toad. Draw Toby!"
I explained a little further to Randy how his aspect ratio was off and a few more descriptors of Toby, and he was more successful with his second attempt.

Randy was rather proud of himself, drawing convincing Thomas Characters (including Mavis, not pictured here) until Myles yelled, with much excitement and anticiaption, "Draw Skarloey!"
Randy gave me the most helpless look. But with some help he was able to come up with this.
