But in much more fun things to report
MYLES TURNED 2!
I really cannot believe that I have a two-year old son. That is so mind-blowing to me, if not to most of my friends and relations.
I thought about writing a really sappy blog entry about thanking Myles for the best two years ever, but even saying I was thinking about it is sappy enough.
He was so fortunate to have 2 birthday parties. On Saturday at my in-laws his siblings toasted him. On Sunday we had a little Pittsburgh-themed party for him with my Pittsburgh area sisters Kate and Megs, Crispian, Crispian's friend Curtis, and the Lachenmans. No, I didn't serve Pierogies, though I considered that (Randy's cooking is soooo much better than any frozen pierogies I could have fried up). We watched the Steeler game and then afterwards ate cake from Giant Eagle. Yes, the game was bitterly disappointing. But Myles did not mind. He had his balloons and his crown.

He had on his favorite jersey, and he had his moves.

The weather was gorgeous, and he could play outside

And my sister and Randy posed this picture when he colapsed, exhasted, in his new recliner (birthday gift from Grandma Callihan). Maybe this picture would be a great ad for Flickerwood.

Okay maybe not.
