Elizabethtown, the Movie, news round-up from E-town
Lots of excited folks that got to see the movie first, thought some of them did say it was a touch too long (Cameron Crowe said the theatrical release will be 18 minutes shorter).
Orlando Bloom ended up not being able to make it to E-town, much to the disappointment of all the 12 year old girls in Hardin County that lined the streets to catch a glimpse of him.
A new ad campaign was launched for E-town tourism that will be shown in some movie theaters before the movie. In addition, Oprah was filming segments in Louisville (BUT NOT E-TOWN) for a program she is going to air in October about the movie.
And if you do go, eat at the new Ruby Tuesday's while it is still new and surprisingly has darn good eats. Within a few months it will settle back into the usual Ruby Tuesday flavorless blah.
