OOOHHH I cannot wait to read Zadie Smith's new novel, On Beauty. Normally I would be excited for her next book regardless, because I just love her, but this one sounds so much more promising than The Autograph Man (which I ended up liking after some initial doubts because, well, it was no White Teeth). She takes the themes and stories of Howard's End, one of my absolute favoritist books ever in my whole life, and runs with them. I wonder if there is an umbrella in it.
