Quick update...Good News!
So, in the midst of all our mess with moving, Randy found time to schedule a job interview (he and the interviewer could drive to meet in Youngstown, Ohio, a few weeks ago), and then get the offer. We weren't too worried about not getting an offer, since the interview was basically, "You can start any time," but we wanted to see the money, location, etc.
Here's the deal.
Randy's job is with (redacted 9/10/08). I'll have a post about them when I have time. He is going to Rochester, NY, the end of this week to complete his drug screen and fill out the papers.
Next week he is in Norfolk, Nebraska, to visit the plant that is being closed and relocated to China.
The following week Randy is in Hong Kong and ShenZhen (is that how it is spelled in English?) to work onthe technology transfer). He will be six weeks there, 2 weeks in the states.
Right now we are trying to find a house in a hurry in Pittsburgh where Myles and I will live until Randy is done with the China assignment and will either be transferred full-time to Rochester or will get to stay in Pgh for him to work at home. First scenario is more likely than the second right now.
WOW.
So much more later.
