Giggle, giggle, giggle
So the other night at the funeral home Puritas Corbin said she really wanted to make a board game called Traddyland after I made the joke earlier this week.
Just to be sure that no one else had beaten us to it, I Googled it. I got only 2 hits, but Google asked me if I meant "Trannyland."

As you know, we caption Monster Jam. For the uninitiated, that's an hour-long monster truck racing show. When the captioners are done with a show, they submit it to the reviewers (that's me and a few others) to watch, along with what we call a verification sheet. That's a list of all spellings that they had to research, along with where they verified the correct spelling.
Okay, so we have this one captioner, a woman who's probably in the ballpark of her mid to late 40s. She's a very nice woman, but utterly out of touch with the culture in general (when she tries to caption rap songs, the "lyrics" she imagines she's hearing are side-splittingly funny) and has absolutely no sense of humor. She's not mean or anything, it's just that she truly has no sense of when something is funny. You'll start to laugh at something, and she looks at you with this startled look on her face.
So it's this woman who captioned an episode of Monster Jam that I was reviewing once. One of the drivers was talking about his truck. On the verification sheets, a lot of the captioners will put brief notations in parenthesis next to a word they need to look up, just to remind themselves of the context, which makes it easier when they're doing the research. So on her verification sheet for Monster Jam, this is what I see:
TRANNY
(transmission, not transsexual)
:-)
LOVE IT
