XS11 UnRally

This weekend my parents and a dozen or so of their fellow XS-11 Enthusiasts (a subculture in the larger Vintage Japanese Motorcycle world) are planning a bike rendevous in West Virginia this wekeend. Originally it was to be just a few of them, rather than a large, organized event, hnce the name unRally. But as people told two friends, and they told two friends and so on and so on, it has grown to more Rally proportions and even has an official t-shirt.

So they will be spending two days riding their obscenely fast motorcycles around all the twisty-windy roads they can find all over West Virginia.
For those of your that know my parents, and have a hard time picturing my mother on the back of a motorcycle, in her full-dress leathers, here is a grainy picture I have from my sister Megan's website.

If I get up early enough tomorrow, I will get a picture with their new helmets, which look so much cooler. Anyway, the word cute has been thrown around not only by the Ambrii but also some of my local friends in referene to my parents' wearing leathers all over town (except not yet at church). To which my mother says:
"Cute? Cute?!? We're not cute. Your father and I are a great love story! We are Tristan and Isolde!"
Yeah, like I said, cute.
