I don't think this is mean, but

So a few weeks ago, Myles began asking for a cookie after lunch. I get him one, usually after I get him to say please. The thank-yous are becoming less prodded. This one day I said, really joking to myself, "Are you going to dance for it?"
And he did.
So now everytime he asks for a cookie he dances. I still ask him if he is going to dance for it, since he is already obliging.
Randy's son-in-law Rory said this was mean.
Was it?

It is cute and harmless until it happens in front of someone else and then you want to crawl in a hole and die.

This entry made me laugh for a while, just imagining you doing this over and over in my head.

That said, I have no idea if it's mean-- but it is very funny.
