Amy Welborn brought down to my level (Ha-Ha)
I have joked here and other places about how I don't really write a Catholic Blog because I read too much smut (and if you are newer here I don't mean real smut, but often the books I read and love are by folks like Nabokov and Henry Miller and Arundhati Roy and the like). When Puritas Corbin teased me about my recent highly coveted link from Open Book making me a contender for a future St. Blog's award, I told her that I would only be up for a St. Blog's award if they had best smut (St. Blog awards are these "awards" voted on by blog readers for Catholic Blogs).
Today Amy posted in Open Book a link to a news story about a former student at a high school where she taught who was now a Playboy centerfold. One common-tater actually chastised Amy about her post creating a near occassion of sin for him with her link to the article (it wasn't even a link to Playboy, but a newspaper article about this girl's career). You don't have to scroll down very far to see it if you follow the link. Open Book is now my competition for best in smut. I can never win at anything.
But in more Open Book is my source of earworms, I cannot rid myself of this song. I hope now neither can you.
