Oh, if only this would work
We've all been pretty disappointed over the cancellation by the NHL this year. It is very strange not to have hockey to look forward to after football.
This article was in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette about a campaign to wrest control of the Stanley Cup from the NHL. While the Canadian trustees' of the Stanley Cup ceded control to the NHL in the 1940s, the NHL could be taken to court in Canada as violating that trust.
If this were to come to that, it could be one more nail in the NHL's coffin.
