When are the Peanuts controversial?

When they are six feet tall bronze statues in a public park in St. Paul, Minnesota, detracting from a more "heroic" statue of F. Scott Fitzgerald.

I don't think the lady liked it very much when she was asked which cartoon characters "wouldn't" be offensive. The Garfield comments afterward were hilarious. :) Glad I wasn't the only one who found it humorous.

That line cracked me up. I also liked the one at the end about how they aren't going to appoint an "art king to say what is good and what is bad."
