This will likely get tons of coverage on Saturday

Big Ben is donating his paycheck from Saturday to tsunami relief. To my knowledge, he is the first NFL player to declare something like that. While I do admire more discrete donations, this was a wonderful challenge to other professional athletes and high rollers.
I guess this is one week when he shows what his "Playing for Jesus" really means to him. I suspected that it just meant more like protection for him, you know, like. "Hey Jesus, I have your name on my shoe. Can you make me faster this week and richer while you are at it."
Maybe someday I will be less cynical.
