Random musings while at Barnes and Noble today
Myles and I occassionally go to Barnes and Noble because most of them now have in their Children's Department an awesome Thomas the Train set-up. In fact, when Myles and I took our road-trip down to Kentucky in December we timed our stops so that we could hit a Barnes and Noble so he could have a chance to stretch his legs and play a little.
So while Myles while playing with the trains, I looked at a few books on display. There were a couple in particular that seemed to be in a weird spot.
There was an endcap on celebrating diversity, like preparation for Black history month, that had some usual titles you would expect, and two that were, well, kind of self-help picture books for kids, One was called Gangs in Your Neighborhood and the other was Gangs and Your Self-Esteem.
