Children's Book Awards from the ALA

For most of you you probably haven't even thought about the Caldecott in 25 years. Remember when the librarian at school would point out which books had received it? They seemed extra-special, with the embossed stamp providing some sort of endorsement I didn't really understand.
So, in case you need ideas for kids' books, other than Myles' enthusiasm chronicled here, you can usually rely on the ALA.
