Calmer now

It has been a few hours since the game and I am calmer, less depressed. It helped, too, that perspective came from an unlikely or likely source, depending on how you look at it.
"It has been a great season!" Crispian reminded us.
Somehow he can see past the disappointment of being thisclose to the Super Bowl and yet...(insert cliche here). I guess Kate's lessons on sportsmanship are paying off, and my exclamations of "Break his foot!" and "Belichik! You crazy jerk!" did not ruin it.
And, we know what the two teams in the Super Bowl this year have in common.
