My current Great-Angst
Don't you just love how I have mastered the art of capitalizing like a German?
So it is December, and there are two candles lit on the Advent Wreath at church, which means I have only two-ish weeks to get out Christmas cards. While this is not that big of a problem, the big deal is that I am yet to have a Christmas picture of Myles to send out with the cards. He has just started walking and feeding himself, so anytime I have the camera out he either has very dirty fingernails, or a giant scratch across his nose, or a large purplish mass on his forehead, or he is covered in cookie crumbs, or some crusty mixture of oatmeal and boogies is all over his face.. ARGHHHHHHHHH. It needs to be PERFECT. I mean, my sister Corinne even took her daughter to get a professional haircut and then got professional pictures taken with holiday decorations and pretty velvet dresses.
I mean, look at that! What am I going to do? No one will hang Myles on their fridge looking the way he does these days. And even if I were able to rush him from the bathtub to Sears for a sitting, the novelty of mobility will make it more of a chasing and planting.
