Love this CD I have been waiting years for

We got to see Madeleine Peyroux years ago at a Lilith Fair. It was so long ago, I can barely remember where it was--I think Columbus? That would be 1997? She was playing on a second stage where only about 100 or so people would gather to hear these "smaller"acts and she was just so cool and talented and funny. She performed this great song, "Was I Drunk?" and the lyrics go "Was I Drunk, was he handsome, did Momma give me hell." The whole song was like that, either declarations or questions of too good of a time.
This CD is just so perfect. I love the Leonard Cohen cover--"Dance me to the End of Love." On the radio you will probably hear more "Don't Wait Too Long." It was co-written by one of the people responsible for some of the big Norah Jones songs, so it is a little pop-y. Just a little. IT is still more 1920s French jazz than FM radio.
