It's December 8th
That means it is my Aunt Millie's birthday. Happy Birthday!
It is also the Catholic Feast of the Immaculate Conception. If you go to Corbin's Blog sometime later today, I am sure there will be great information on the feast day as well as some very beautiful pictures. (She also has a lot of good Advent stuff if you are interested, too)
However, growing up in the 1970s in Western Pennsylvania, I can't tell you how many people think the day is actually about the Immaculate Reception. While some (Raiders fans, mostly) say that Franco's was not a real catch, the Post Gazette a few weeks ago reported that the Physics of the play prove that it was a clean catch.
