At least one of my professors was here at Ft. Benning

The annual Teach-In and protest at what was once known as the School of the Americas was over the weekend of 19-21 November. This annual event is important to Jesuits because they lost six of their brother priests (and their housekeeper and her daughter), murdered in El Salvador in 1989. At least 19 of the 26 Salvadoran officers found responsible were graduates of the SOA.
Spring Hill has been sending a bus every year and even the President of the College is active in this cause.
Since no celebrities or 90-year-old nuns were arrested, there wasn't much coverage of it this year in the national news. We know what type of underwear Scott Peterson prefers, but this got almost zero notice. Ugh.
