ERROR in last email: we docked at Port Pelang and drove to Kuala Laumpur, capital of Malaysia, and did our sight-seeing.Arrived at Penang yesterday, did some sightseeing of temples, some really old, and a museum of the history of Penang (also spelled Pinang) which was fascinating. What a melting pot of Chinese, Japannese, Australians, Indonesians, etc,. this place is. Oringinally ENglish, then Dutch, then Portuguese (sp?), in addition to people only identified at sea gypsies, Penang is able to live peacefully. Amazing.!Continued north and docked in Phutet, THailand. Barbara is out touring and I stayed on board...not feeling up to 90 degree heat (in the shade) and driving around all day. I'm sure she will have a marvelous tail to tell. Perhaps later, if computers are free, which they were not last night.Tonight we head a bit more north and then go west into the Indian Ocean, arriving in Cochin, India after 3 days at sea.Getting plenty of wonderful sea air and sun (not too much) and rest.
