Married Catholic Priest assaults wife

The subject of married priests is one of the hot topics among Catholics in the U.S. I am oddly ambivalent about it. You would think I would have a strong opinion either way, but I don't. I see the strong arguements either way, and I am not swayed either way.
But for anyone who sees a married priesthood as THE fix for other problems we have in the (Roman Rite) Church, think again. Married priests come with married problems, and we are REALLY REALLY REALLY not equipped to handle these sorts of problems. I know that criminal level behavior like this priest in Morris County, New Jersey, would not be the norm, but what do we do?
